7 of swords as perception

I lied to someone and asked how they view me and got 7 of swords reversed.

Upright it would mean deciete. Reversed would it mean that she didn't suspect me?

I think maybe both would still be getting caught in the lie.I just think upright it would be like getting caught in a "white lie" something someone might over look. Like a "does this make me look fat?"question. If I knew the person I asked lied that would be easy to just brush off
vs getting caught in a lie and the person's perception of your character becomes more negative..I would see that as the reverse
