Collecting Your Best, Brightest, Most Exciting Three Card Spreads!!!

Zelmira

Body, mind, spiriti

Hi everyone!
I do a daily reading for myself with a 3 card spread. I call it (the idea is from a book): body, mind, and spirit. They help me to know the tone of my physical day, what is in my mind and what is the spiritual aspect of the day. Most of the days it mades a lot of sense.
Peace,
Zelmira

3 card fan here also, some from books, and some found here in the spread index.

I almost always lay them
***1***
2*****3

With the querent or focus of the spread at one/center so I know which cards are pushing/pulling the central focus.

DoDo spread By Zoe posted on July 3. I *think* she is Mary Greer's secretary.
1. the situation
2. Don't do
3 Do do
I think this is a rather brilliant solution to some of the yes/no questions

1. Problem/Issues
2. What Hinders
3. What Helps

1. Issue
2. Option One
3. Option Two

1. Id
2. Ego
3. Super ego

1. What skills do I bring?
2. Where I need to focus efforts
3. Benefit gained from skill growth
AJ, I want to post some spreads for you from the Jana Riley Compendium. Very similar to some of these, and I think a couple you'll like that are a bit different.

Please do when you have the time, Satori. I'm collecting these for my women's group to use, as they are fairly new to tarot, and these would give them good information without being overwhelming. Thanks for this thread!

Taken from :Tarot Dictionary and Compendium by Jana Riley

As promised:

these all layout this way:
***1***2***3

The Other Person*****Yourself*****A Third Party

Yes*****No*****Maybe

What I do to others*****What others do to me*****Synthesis of both

Person A's Perspective*****My Perspective*****The Situation

That last one I might do differently.
I would lay it out like this:

************The Situation*******

**Person A Prspctve****My Prspctive*****

But you see how easy it is to play with these three card spreads.

Here is one more that I like, and I created:

***1***
***2***
***3***

***Where I am Now***

***Where I am Heading***

***Another Direction to Consider***

This is like giving yourself another option, especially if you can't see your way out of the thicket! So you may be heading in a direction you don't want to go in, and you may not even know it is not gonna be good, with this you get to see your probable out come and give yourself an escape hatch! This easily becomes a five card spread if you want to give yourself three other directions/options to choose from.

edited to add:
Where you are headed may be a good place too! Forgot to say that if it is a good place you can change third position to:

***Pitfalls to look out for***

This will show places where you might get tripped up!

What I like about this one, is that it helps you to focus on a positive by asking for the positive to be shown right up front! So then you spend your day looking for/manifesting that positive!

Nice!

This is true! sometimes I forget the negative almost all together!

Satori

Hi there AA,
I loved two of these right away.

Worm**Fish**Meal is delightful! What a great spread.

And

Blessings of the Gods**Blessings of the Ancestors**Blessings of the Elements

This sort of caught me. That has a very shamanic feel to it, doesn't it? I'm pulling out the Ironwing right now to do this reading, because hey, who doesn't need this kind of blessing once in a while? I also think that I may make another spread using the first two positions and changing the Blessings of the Elements to something else, but not real sure what will be there yet...

Thanks for the post!!!
