5's and 8's

AngeliqueC

A couple of days ago I did a reading for myself that was very out of the ordinary and what it said worried me. So I decided to do another one different spread. Almost all the same cards. Now I did several more spreads and same thing kept happening but what I want to know is there any significance to the fact that all spreads had two 5's and two 8's swords and wand but once or twice a wand change to penticle but still two 5/8

You should post what these cards mean to you, when you see a 5 or 8 what pops into your mind?

This popped into my head after reading your post. For me in general, just speaking of numbers, 5 is unstable, 8 is cycles/perceptions. You are in a cycle of unstability, or your perceptions are not stable. Is there fear or stress in your life making you feel unstable? This is what I would be asking myself or the person I am reading for. If the same cards keep showing themselves a lession needs to be learned or something is being over looked.

You are right on point with what you said. Thank you so much that makes complete sense. I guess I need to learn what the numbers mean. I have only been reading a couple of months and been almost completely accurate but that little detail makes the whole thing come together

Hi AngeliqueC, If you had to guess what the 5s & 8s mean, what would you guess? :livelong: Just write something here. It is the best way to learn.
Just take a stab at it. :)

5s are simply some kind of
*****CHANGE*****

5s in most "book definitions" get a bad rap, but 5s are not always "bad", because CHANGE is not always bad. 5s can simply be: CHANGING from the stability/stagnancy of the 4s moving toward harmony/discord/relationship of the 6s.
Is the situation of the 4 stable, stagnant, stuck, comfortable? What is the change of the 5 referring to in your reading? Is the change moving toward the harmony of the 6, or disharmony (like war)?

Thirteen's reference on the numbers. It is not complete, but it is a starting place.

(Remember: if you read all cards right-side-up, the opposite energy is also in the card's meaning and can be intertwined. Listen to your intuition as you ponder the card to see if the meaning is "balanced" or "unbalanced" in that particular reading.)
