I've found that you have to be quite careful associating positives with the negative cards. Several cards do change from positive to very negative but that's when they're near the Clouds (Cloverleaf, Stars) and so can a couple of neutrals (Roads). But when the Fox is by good cards he tends to cast doubt on their positivity.
Several of my students in the past associated Fox with work, and they struggled in deciding when the Fox was work/neutral or positive or being sly/negative. When I set them lessons on yes/no questions they struggled particularly because that is done by dominance of negative or positive.
Whilst I do understand why some people might see the Fox animal as a symbol of work it is not in keeping with the Lenormand emblem. It's a bit like trying to reinterpt the Sibilla falsità card because we like cats.
There really is no individual work card but several who deal with different themes relating to employment (Ship, Moon, Anchor). But these also deal with inheritences and love, for instance.
