The Gendron Tarot: Prince of Swords

I love this card. I credit this particular card for helping me to move away from using me LWb to reat tarot.

The way I look at this card, the prince is on his knees and about to lay his sword in front of him in surrender. Therefore I usually see it as a card of needing to surrender, give in, or sacrifice a little something in order to move ahead in certain areas of life.

How do you inturpret this card?

Nice interpretation Miss Apples. That is the beauty of this deck (even though I don't want to admit it - I initially didn't connect with it), every time I read with it I see something different.

And in this case, I do see something different than surrender (but that could change tomorrow!). To me, I see a young person taking a break from his/or lessons. He/she is an eager learner but now is a time for contemplation. I sense this as respite.
