Cards too busy??

Mistteak

I have a few Lenormand decks, trying to find one I blend with that I can learn with. I have Gilded Reverie, Under the roses and enchanted ..

I must say the Gilded and the enchanted are very Busy. My initial impression of Lenormand, was that you had one image, and its meaning, linked to cards either side of it.

So I am confused why some of these decks are so busy ...

I find I use the Under the roses mostly ..

Are there any other simple, uncluttered decks I should look at?

There are so many now....it really depends on what style of art you like.
Have you browsed through the lenormand deck section?

My first two decks were the Piatnik and the Blue Owl with playing card inserts not verses.
Still love them and use them the most.
I recently got the Storybook lenormand from The Game Crafter and it is my new favorite...very simple uncluttered pictures and so sweet.

What kind of art do you prefer? There are simple designs in a variety of art styles, from traditional to contemporary.

Lee

For a contemporary minimalist deck, I recommend the LEN.

I am awaiting the Enchanted Lenormand.

They will be my first deck and I chose them because they were small and the images were instantly recognizable. I liked the borders because in a 9 card spread or a GT they make each image distinguishable, but others have said they find it too busy. I like the bubble/crystal ball amongst the vine look however. Its serene and the uniformity seems like it would make it easy to focus on the pictures at hand.

Saying this all of course as I am awaiting the deck, should be here in a few days, Ill let you know if i completely change my mind lol, but I doubt it.
