Description: The sun has “stick” rays, one of them with an ankh. There is a large angelica plant in bloom.

Significant Details: The sun signifies joy and contentment, as well as the beginning. The ankh is an ancient Egyptian symbol of eternal life. The angelica symbolizes the warding off of evil.

Medicinal Uses: Angelica is anti-dyspeptic, and used for flatulence. An ointment is used for minor skin problems and for rheumatic pain.
