Get the book if you can, you don't need it to read the cards but it is a good introduction to the language of flowers.

From the perspective of someone who really likes this deck and knows nothing about flowers I am happy to share my approach with you. I want to practice reading with it but I get the feeling that it will perform differently than that I am used to seeing.
