Practice strings: making a story

Carla

On Andybc's teaching site (http://cartomantescabinet.wordpress.com/2012/09/30/lesson-02-module-two-narration/) I encountered a useful activity which I think it might be fun to do more of. There was a sentence, and you have to use 3-5 Lenormand cards to create the narrative.

Example: You end a disagreement by leaving. 11 Whip + 8 Coffin + 3 Ship.

Could we play a game doing this? Give your card combination with a brief explanation of how they fit together in your mind.

You end a disagreement by leaving.
11 Whip + 8 Coffin + 3 Ship
Debate, end of something, travel.

Try this one:
A young girl will win a scholarship.

YDM42

Scythe Bear Child

Sudden Financial Growth for the young girl.

Carla

Scythe Bear Child

Sudden Financial Growth for the young girl.

Cool. Would you like to make a sentence for someone to try next? :)

Well I pulled three cards to come up with a sentence, and got --Clover, Heart, Key

so the next sentence to should be:

Fate holds the key to ones heart.

Glass Owl

Fate holds the key to one's heart.

Cross + Key + Heart
burdens/fate, key/solution, heart

Try this one:
A troublesome friend is moving away.

La Force

Fate holds the key to one's heart.

Try this one:
A troublesome friend is moving away.

Snake + Dog + Stork

Next sentence:

Worried about work environment issues

Lil Red

Birds + Anchor + Garden

Next sentence:

A clever woman holds secrets.

Fox + Lady + Book

A sneaky child stealing your jewelry.

firecatpickles

A sneaky child stealing your jewelry.

Snake Child Ring

Next:
Not only should one stop and smell the roses--but pick one, too!

Glass Owl

Snake Child Ring

Next:
Not only should one stop and smell the roses--but pick one, too!
Bouquet + Scythe
(flowers, cutting)

Next:
A man is writing a book.
