Trendy decks and decks that need updating

Thank you for that link, Scion. A very interesting thread! I enjoyed reading it -- it seems we (that is, many of the posters to that thread and I) agree a bit on the parameters that might comprise a "new classic" deck.

I think many of the digital decks look dated very fast, or maybe it's that I don't like digital art in my deck?

Anyway, I love how the Mountain Dream deck is "dated." It perfectly captures a time and a place and that's why I wish I had an original deck.
