Buckland Romani-2 of Koshes(staves)

A perplexed looking man leans against his vardo and stands between 2 staves. His eyes look over to one side dreamily as though he is really not focused on where he is at the moment, but rather where he would like to be instead. He does look a bit suspicious I think, but I'm not sure of what. Perhaps he is weighing his options and is just confused at what the outcome will be.

The color again makes me think I am looking at a scene in autumn. I think the man is waiting for someone to arrive. He does not know this person very well
and much depends on this meeting.......
While I am writing this a very crazzzzzzy thought comes to my mind:
The man is waiting by his vado and listening. In a bender tent nearby his wife is in labour. he has made the second stave to welcome his first born son into the family. But, just to be sure, iffff it should be a little daughter, in his red red diklo he has knotted a little tiny gold earring - suitable for a baby girl........
