There's me here as well! I'm in Auckland, and not doing much tarot at the moment, I need to get my tarot groove back! I'm thinking that over the Christmas holidays I should pick one of my decks that I haven't worked with yet (either the Druidcraft or the Llewellyn) and get thoroughly acquainted.

Hi Luned

I have both those decks and love them alot. They read really well for me. I used the Druidcraft exclusively for several years and its still in my top three, and Llewellyn is just beautiful and emotive also.
At the moment I am using the Victorian Romantic exclusively and I have to say its knocked Druidcraft from the top position, its just that good!
I hope you do decide to spend more time here again.
Great to see you here! Our Kiwi connection seems to be growing.

Michelle

Come on Kiwis there must be more of us out there! And there must be some people from one of the most beautiful places on earth - the South Island.

Kia Ora!

I'm originally from the Uk but now an official Kiwi, got my passport last year! . I live in auckland and have finally found "home".

Been here five years now and have been doing tarot about 4 years. I go to the Tarot Guild occasionally which is on once a month. It's a great meet up of beautiful, like minded people and always something to learn.

Hi Gingerstar Thanks for the link that looks really interesting. I wish there was more stuff like that in Wellington.
Where in the UK are you from? And what made you move over here if you dont mind my asking?
Anyway, I hope you like it here, good weather in Auckland eh?
Hope to see you around

Michelle

I'm from wellington. I just joined, I've been playing with cards off and on for about 10 years. There's not many guys around but that's ok.

I'm interested in the Higher Arcana and their meaning as a cycle and for meditation. This is sort of where I'm looking at the present time.

Although I do read the cards for people when they ask, and for myself. I'd like to build up a collection of different decks.

I'd also be interested in developing further towards ritual type stuff in time.

I'm pretty hard headed really, and keep my cards close to my chest as far as other people are concerned I collect them from an interest in mythology (coward eh).

I'm 35

take care all
Gareth

Hi Ambrosia,

We lived in London, although I'm originally grew up in scotland and ireland.
My husband and I went traveling in 2000, when we got home, we couldn't settle. We had spent lots of time in nz and oz and planned to move back to sydney but it was too complicated so we came to Auckland. It was the best thing we've ever done.

We have a wonderful life here. We live in a lovely house, have a gorgeous golden retriever and run a few different businesses. We also have a life. The main reason we moved from the Uk. We lived in london and worked up town, leaving home at 7am and getting home at 7.30pm at the earliest, very often working past twelve. We're both graphic designers and worked in agencies where late nights were the norm.

Now the few late nights we do, go straight in our pockets!

One thing we have noticed now when we go back to uk, is the energy feels so heavy and dense. We both feel physically sick. I guess NZ just suits us so well

Hi Gareth!

Yay! A Wellingtonian! Finally! Lol.

Great to have you here. You will find so much info and great discussions on AT, hope it helps in some way.

Where in Wellington are you?

Awesome gingerstar.

Im so glad you like it here. My dad is from London and my mum from Ireland. I was born here though.
My brother was over in Bristol for a few years, met a girl, had a couple of sprogs, then they both moved back here late last year.
For them, it was because they could own a house with land and have a better lifestyle for their kids. Cheaper etc. They dont think they would have been able to have that in the UK at this stage.
Anyway, glad to have you here.
