Hi -

I'm not from New Zealand, but I'm a friend of Fern Mercier and have visited a couple of times to teach. I love New Zealand though I've only been to the North Island. What a great, enthusiastic and imaginative group of people you are!

Well you've certainly come to the right place Gareth. The longer you use the cards, the easier it will become.
One of the wonderful things about Tarot for me is that there is ALWAYS something new to discover, learn and discuss.
I hope you enjoy your time here.
And dont forget, if you are interested in reading for others, that once you have 25 posts, you can offer readings in the exchange forum here on AT. Its great practice and you will get plenty of feedback which is helpful in learning the cards and testing your accuracy.
Feel free to pop back here anytime and let us know how you're progressing.

Michelle

What a busy and interesting life you've had so far Vesta.

I'm in Auckland so it's a bit far to go for that cup of tea though. I look forward to seeing you around the boards.

aww I feel like I have found my true home and friends here in NZ

Thanks for the invite and welcome to this sub forum

I moved here just two months ago and live in Christchurch - am I the only South Island member so far? If so what a shame - it is a lovely island with breathtaking scenery. (I do love the north island too though and have had two trips there where it was toured.)

My interests are on my profile page but I have one aim now I have settled - to get my tarot reading and crystal healing business off the ground. I don't want tomake it a huge business if that makes sense, but run it from home as a part time role. If anyone has any suggestions to help me on the way they would be truly appreciated. Having had a look round the only two tarot readers I have seen in Christchurch have been on stalls at the local weekend markets. With regards to the crystal healing, I have not seen or heard of anyone who offers that so it could work either way for me. I could be the ground breaker and find it is popular, or it could be a case of nobody wants to try it. Wish me luck though. Look forward to having many chats here with my new friends and neighbours.

Davina
