Anyone from NYC for 2012

Hi all! Here's the new thread for 2012. We meetup at The Winter Garden in the World Financial Center at 2PM, the last Sunday of every month (unless otherwise stated). It's located on Vesey Street in lower Manhattan (behind the WTC construction site). It's right near the World Trade Center PATH station.

There are two ways of getting to the World Financial Center/Winter Garden: there's an entrance to a pedestrian bridge on Albany and West streets and there's a pedestrian bridge on Vesey street. The Vesey street pedestrian bridge is a little more straight forward.

Trains:
2/3 to Chambers street. (Once outside, just walk towards Vesey. Make a right at the PATH station and walk upstairs to the pedestrian bridge.)

4/5 to Fulton street (from Fulton, walk to Vesey street along Broadway. Make a left and walk a block or two to the pedestrian bridge.

R to Cortland street (the downtown side of the Cortland Street station is now open). This stop leaves you right in front of the construction site. Walk to Vesey, make a left and keep walking to the pedestrian bridge.

If you're taking the PATH, get off at the World Trade Center PATH station and make a left. (the WTC PATH station's exit is on Vessey Street.)

Keep walking along the Vesey street pedestrian bridge. At the end there are two sets of stairs going down to the street. Take the set of stairs that's a little to your right. The entrance to the World Financial Center is just a few steps away from the bottom of the stairs. Once you're inside just follow the signs to the Winter Garden (it's the huge space with the palm trees).

While there are tables on the ground level of the Winter Garden (by the window facing the Hudson River) they're usually all taken up. There are also some tables available on the upper level overlooking the ground level. (It's right by a set of escalators)

I would go into details how to get to the Winter Garden from Albany and West but I don't remember very well the streets I walked just to get to that point.

Last Sunday of the month which is...the January 29th this month. Check back here when it gets closer to the day.
