We have now confirmed speakers and workshop presenters at the Tarosophy TarotCon (USA) I, to be held in Dallas, October 19th-21st 2012. These include:

with additional workshops by, amongst others:

Mary K. Greer, Paul Nagy, Katrina Wynne, Dr. Art Rosengarten ...

The website has a form if you'd like to register as a potential vendor, etc. The ticket price is yet to be confirmed, however it will be very reasonable and our convention team have also secured very low room rates at the venue!

We'd love to see you there, when the oracles return! As a teaser, there's also another major research announcement to be made at the convention, similar to our Waite-Trinick project.

Hello All

We're delighted to announce that in addition to everyone already announced, Enrique Enriquez will also be attending the Tarosophy TarotCon I in Dallas (October 19th-21st 2012) and our M.C. will be Daniel Donche, of the Darkana Deck and Inappropriate Tarot Readings renown.

We have also confirmed our after-dinner speaker, James Wells, and it has also been confirmed that the soundtrack for the whole production is now underway - yes, we have a soundtrack and many other surprises in this fully immersive tarot experience/convention!

Looking forward to meeting everyone there; tickets will be released next week, we're just waiting on the bespoke hotel website to be confirmed so we can integrate it into our professional ticketing system.

I look forward to meeting attendees in person at this unique immersive themed event ... (not as in water immersive, as in Tarot themed!). We also hope you enjoy the somewhat tongue-in-cheek trailer video, despite a slight voiceover mangling of "tarot". We only had budget for one take, LOL.

Thank you for your post, and yes, we snuck in the Lenormand cards as part of our theme this year on the "Cards of Antiquity: The Return of the Oracles". We've been teaching Lenormand and other cartomantic methods alongside our Tarot work, so it felt fitting to use those two cards as illustrations - but well spotted!

We'll have the detailed program up on the site within the next couple of weeks, we'rejust finalising a few writing projects and then we'll be confirming the specifics of the Tarosophy TarotCon (USA) and providing programs, flyers, etc.

We have a few new announcements such as our "Tarot Town Market Soapbox" feature, where we are encouraging new voices in Tarot to get themselves heard, and a Dragons Den/Shark Tank feature which will be filmed, where participants with a Tarot business/project idea can pitch for funding from a panel of several investors. It'll be fun!

We have now released a second teaser trailer for the Tarosophy TarotCon in Dallas, October 20-21 2012. It may be viewed here:

It hints a little at the theme of the event, which will be a fully "immersive" experience with its own live soundtrack throughout the two days, as a real-life "Tarot Town" is lived out by all participants. The workshops and presentations will be woven into the fabric of the experience, with a storyline culminating in an audacious act of magical tarot ritual.

All attendees and those booking to attend in the next two weeks will get a exclusive HALF-PRICE ticket to our 2013 event. All you have to do is book for the October 2012 event, then during the convention, find Tali Goodwin and hand her a $1 deposit for 2013. She'll then reserve you one half-price ticket for next year. It's a gesture of faith both ways :-)

On the website I see mentioned there will be a range of workshops priced at $30. While this tells me the price it does not tell me what I asked about.

Which talks/workshops are included in the price? Which talks/workshops are extra? I don't want to pay a registration fee and find out half the stuff costs extra to attend.

Can you give a specific list?
