Sun and Moon - Five of Cups

Claire Voyante

In this card I see the night sky, which I think represents a place of darkness. Whenever you are experiencing something sad or disappointing you are in a dark place, in your mind.

There is a woman who looks like she was kneeling upright beside the water, but it looks like she fell to her side in grief. She is looking at her reflection in the water, not happy with what she sees. The flowers surrounding her are even sad, they are wilted.

She has two cups beside her that she needs to fill, but she is to distracted by her sadness that she forgets them. The three cups in the water makes me think that she started to fiil them up, but let them go to watch them float away deep in her own thoughts.

This card makes me think that she is disappointed in herself.

I have always thought that she was mourning for the three cups that she lost instead of enjoying the two she has left. Like unnecessary grieving.

I have the same thought with byrgypsy. Disappointed in things not going her way but she's forgetting that she still has 2 cups beside her to fill
