Best way to work with the Deviant moon?

Girl Archer

I understand that the dm has its companion book, which is in the coming but until then... how do I make the best of my Deviant moon? The imagery is totally "different" and I don't know how to read some of them. Like, most of the positive cards seemed a bit menacing and negative but then again, that could just be the nature of the deck itself. Trying to be spooky and all that...

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)

I think you can read it as a typical RWS clone, with the understanding that the characters in the cards may have a slightly different take on the situation. The negativity is just there to remind you to look into the shadow too.
