Celtic Cross Position

Redfirestone

Does someone know how to read the second card in the Celtic Cross. I'm having trouble figuring out if its reversed or not.

If the top of the card faces left ideas as upright. If it faces right I read as reversal. You have determine how it reads for you. No wrong answer :)

There are many different iterations of the Celtic Cross (I know if at least 30), so "second position" isn't all that helpful when asking questions about that spread.

But as it's the card that's usually placed on its side, the rule of thumb I've heard and used is that if the top of the card is to the left, then it's upright and if it's to the right, then the card is reversed. I believe that comes from the direction in which we read text. If you use a language that reads from right to left, then you'd reverse that.
