Hi All ....
This is the spread that I devised to look at a dream I had recently. I really wanted to pull it apart! It is rather complicated spread but I am trying to look at the dream on many levels but also as a whole (and in one reading).
It requires 2 decks: 1 tarot, 1 Oracle.
I am using the Thoth Deck and the Sabian Symbols in conjunction with each other. Though I think any deck and any oracle could be used.
The dream contained a scene of the suicide of a friend. There were certain elements of the dream that stood out - the ones I remember most vividly. I made a list and then had a look to see what physicalled happened, how I felt during the dream, what kind of enviroment was it set in and lastly what, if any, hidden images may have been in there that i didnt remember.
I picked apart the dream like this:
Main Focus Points of the Dream:
Friend
Suicide
Blood
Panic
Disbelief
You could put anything into these categories. I have kept them to the main themes in the dream so as to not 'over interpret the dream.
Secondary Focus Points of the Dream:
Dingy:
Dirty/dirt:
Cushions
Carpet
Light
Other people
Next, I put these focus points into categories to work out the spread. I have chose to use Tarot Majors in these placements 'Bigger Secrets'.

Emotional Attributes of the Dream
Enviromental Attributes of the Dream
Hidden Attributes of the Dream
They are followed by one main feature in the dream that relates to the title. Thes are put in under each column. Here I use Oracle cards.
The Dreamscape is the dream on an unconscious level: The Purpose of the Dream / What I should be aware of consciously. One Tarot card and one oracle card head the reading.

The last position (using a Tarot card and an oracle card) should give me any lesson, realization, purpose and message of the dream.
The pulling of these cards can be done in one sitting but I have chosen to pull each card position - one per day. I will post the result when I have finished it completely.

Any comments on the spread would be much appreciated. Sorry, you'll probably have to print it out. I doesnt all fit on my screen(LOL)!! either.
