Lo Scarabeo XIII-Death

zephyr_heart

A skeletal figure is holding a giant scythe and resting it by the shoulder, walking towards the right side and has a crown.

Beneath him are each suits, each are broken.

There are mountains on the distance, with the sun's light shine brightly.

To me, the crown tells me that time, death, pain and change reigns supreme over all of us.

I hadn't noticed that, until I took a look at the card again, before reading your post.

To me, the crown tells me that time, death, pain and change reigns supreme over all of us.

I was thinking the same thing. All of the tools were ultimately useless, in the face of Death. (I don't like this card, because I have a lot of trouble letting go.) In the Fairytale Tarot (MRP), the related story is Godfather Death, in which a young man tries to cheat Death multiple times, only for Death to have the last laugh.

(I keep forgetting to check my PM's - I'll check them later. :) I keep having computer problems, and am now trying to clear a virus.)
