The "How Do I Get There from Here?" Spread

firecatpickles

A travelling spread in the shape of a road (a "yield") sign:

1*****6*****2

***3*****4

******5
  1. Point A
  2. Point B
  3. Mode 1
  4. Mode 2
  5. Route (Mode 1)
  6. Best Route (Mode 2)

Querent provides two modes of transportation (e.g., "car" or "train.")

In this spread, it is necessary not to pre-assign which mode of transportation is represented by which card before the throw. This is because the Reader must match the two modes of transportation with the appropriate cards in positions 3 & 4 during the reading. (This will take intutitive practice.)

Then, the Reader matches each mode appropriately with each route. (Also, this will take intuitive practice.)

The best mode of transportation will always be Option 2.
