Personally, I love the imagery! It is basically the same as the Rider Waite deck, just with updated images. The only changes I don't like are how the Devil card is the "Shadow Side" and the "Karma" card is something else in the deck...

Anyone else's thoughts?

I have it and I really like it. It may not be my all time fave deck, but I pull it out regularly because it reads so easily and clearly. I have no issues with the 2 cards you mentioned. I quite like the change for this particular deck. I also think Ellen Dugan did a great job with the companion book. So many books I read sound so repititive that I don't even bother reading them anymore. That was not so with this one. There are a few images I really do not like (page of swords for instance), but hey I can live with that. Almost every deck I own has atleast 1 image in the deck I don't like so I'm fine with it.
