Help with a read. Thanks!

Village Witch

I asked the cards if I would get the job I interviewed for this week. I drew...

Lady + Man + Letter.

I thought perhaps a man would call and offer me the job. I read letter as all the forms a person has to sign when employed. Also, Letter could be a contract.

I did not read the cards as yes or no, as I read the Man and Lady cards as neutral. Letter might be positive, but I would tend to read Letter as neutral also.

I received a phone call today from a woman who offered me the job.

I still don't see how this plays out in the cards. Unless a Man told a Lady to offer me a contract. I find that interpretation as reaching a bit.

The lady card can be a woman, or it can be a receptive person. The man card can mean an actual man, or anyone who is active or has power or forward momentum. So it could be the lady (receptive person) will receive a communication from a person with power (to offer a job). I think it was spot on. Drawing another card might have told you what kind of communication and clarified that one.

Congratulations on the new job!

I'm still a bit of a beginner with Lenormand, but as I see it the man card here would represent the woman who called you. I see the man card often as a person with power. Someone who is in a position that has power. The lady who called you, obviously is this person and the lady card is obviously yourself. the letter is the offer that they extended to you about the job.

I assumed I was the Lady. I will definitely remember that the Lady can be read as a receptive person.

The position I accepted is treasurer of a local borough council. The lady that called me is the secretary of the council. The president of the council is a man. I am thinking they all have equal voting rights as they said a vote was needed to approve me for the job. I am assuming that the president carries a little more weight or would be the determining vote in case of a tie.

I never thought of drawing another card.

Thank you for your reply. Much appreciated.

I would have never read the Man card that way. I'll be jotting that down in my notes. Thank you so very much!

I am learning a lot in just two replies here!
