Also the situation surrounding my thesis is unclear...she is working with me unofficially outside of univ. She is also trying to help me sort some issues I've had with my former supervisors.
With the chapter yes there are parts that might be unclear as its the shortest chapter and is an Intro so it is meant to not give away too much just a little window into the thesis and urge the reader to carry on reading more or look forward to more.
Based on this...do you still think the cards are indicating to hold on and work more on it before sending it??

I would say send it... if this is only to get help and guidance. I would send what you have and let her help you create something better. But, I would still revise it again to see how you can work on it.
I'm not on a graduate level so I won't give advice about writing...just that she might say you can be clear about your intent of writing this in the intro without giving away too much info. The body of the the whole paper is going to go into details...the intro I would assume is to give enough of a taste to the reader that draws them into wanting to read more to discover more information about the topic you are writing.

well I think if you contacted him you would most likely end up having a verbal conversation about some information pertaining to work. There are work options. To me the reading doesn't say if you reach out to him he will give you a job. It looks more like if you reach out there may be some options presented to you. But not sure if that indicates it will end up in a work position or a contract for a certain project.
