Hey. No problem.Think:
My question (if it's an okay one) is:
How is my dissertation research going to go between now and my next meeting with my mentor on 4th July? Sorry for late response was around dinner time near me and I had to go out and get some stuff.
Oh yes, this is very true. My methodology is very opportunistic, my plan is to meet people in a pub or walking their dogs in the woods. My research is about residents of gated communities' attitudes to non-residents. I will probably go to a hall, yeah. Great read. Oh yeah and I'm expecting problems.Garden-Tree-Fish-Tower-Snake
Garden is about socializing & get togethers
Tree is about growth & tied to health field or history/ancestry.
Fish is about abundance & money (also male sex organ) or something tied to the waters (fish/marine life)
Tower is about schools & all organizations...also about structures.
Snake is about lies, deceit, and problems
This could indicate that you will go out in the field to gather whatever additional facts or information you may need for your research. This could be going out asking people questions or going out to find knowledge somewhere. But it's mirrored by snake...this could be as you go out to gather this information your may run into problems or problematic people. I am wondering if your research is tied to health or ancestry/history of people. The fish does show an abundance. You may have to go to some organization to gather information. This could be a place that hold the history of something. But expect some problems still.
Good, makes a lot of sense. I'm expecting to only get a small number of people respond. The cards add up to child...I used a calculator this time lol.
Child can indicate something small or new.
So there might be an abundance...but you will only get a little of what you want from whatever you are seeking.

Q: I have an odd question.
How do I move on from D(a person)?
letter cross tree scythe child
letter could signify an actual letter to D, outlining your thoughts. Or it could be, as you suggested to me, a journal. Writing down your experiences with D.
cross is the difficulties, so with the letter, it's writing down the heartache and frustrations.
tree is the middle card here, a warning not to be too pessimistic, rely on yourself, trust in life, the cycles and growth, things move on continually. I think it also points to having good thoughts, so surrounded by cross (burdens) and scythe (separation), it is saying to look at the benefits to you, see things for what they were. I guess D was not the nicest of characters and in a way you are better off without them, as hard as that might be to realise now.
scythe - separation
child - this could be about being childish, it's okay to do that, and sometimes it's good to care for yourself as though you were a child.
I think together they are saying to focus on the good things in your life, think positively and see the true nature of the qualities of D. If they hurt you, think rationally, not emotionally. Perhaps consider writing it all out, either to them or to yourself. Be childish if it helps, and do something fun. And then most of all take care of yourself, give yourself a hug, something like that. But ultimately know that time heals all and you will get over them.
Hope that makes sense.
ETA: 27+36+5+10+13 = 10 scythe
I think the separation and cutting off things that wound you is key here.
