Any suggestions how to cleanse oneself off of bad luck and negativity?

JONIKA

Hi all
Could you give me some suggestions about what to do? We've had some weird stuff happen to us on the Internet (our both accounts got hacked for example). My friend has gotten her hard drive fried from the power surge...
Overall, these little bad things have been happening to us or people around us and we don't know why. We had quite a negative / dark person visit us last spring and maybe she left something of herself behind. She has had dark energies chasing her wherever she would go. We cut her off mentally, but maybe we need to do something on the energy level.

I am thinking of cleansing our home and our bodies with sage smudging while ordering the negative energy to leave where it came from...but I can't think of anything else...

Thank you for any ideas.

If it were me, I'd perform a cleansing ritual involving an actual physical cleaning, washing the floors and baseboards with Chinese Wash, and smudging each room of the house. Then I'd annoint some candles with Uncrossing oil and burn them each day for at least a few months, or until I felt like it was no longer necessary. In conjunction, at some point I'd probably also dress and burn some candles with an oil designed to bring harmony/peace/joy into the home - but I'd do the Uncrossing first, for sure.

Whatever you do, I wish you luck!

Gwen, thank you for your suggestion! I will do something like that. :)

I agree with October Gwen, would also carve an x on the candles as an "uncrossing" symbol. As OG said, be sure to do the uncrossing/jinx removing first, and then do the house blessing work. In addition to lighting house blessing candles (use blue ones dressed with blessing oil), I would also use a house blessing incense in each room clockwise around each wall and be sure to do inside the closets.

Tiddles, would it be okay to provide a link to your egg cleansing ritual? I found it.

I'd rather you didn't. It is way too special and important to me for it to be posted and then ignored as it was initially. If someone really needs it, they will find it as you did.
No disrespect to you Carla, I know you mean well, it's just that the way I learned about this and who I learned it from is sacred to me and I wish I'd never posted about it now. I deleted all traces of it that I could without the help of a moderator.

Ah yes - that's a great tip about the closets! Blue candles are good but I think white will work, too, in a pinch.

I do hope you come back and let us know if things improve, JONIKA.

:(

I loved that. I am sorry you regret posting it, Tiddles.

Oh, I'm sorry you felt that way. I thought it was very edifying to know about and I'm glad I got the chance to read it. I promise I won't repeat it.
