How do yinz feel about the Dalai Lama not picking anyone to become the next one? He thinks its time now to end the practice. I feel kinda bad, but i understand where he is coming from
It is a very sad end to a long tradition, but after the 11th Panchen Lama controversy, and China saying they will pick the next Dalai Lama, I think he felt had little choice. What this really means for the Tibetan people though, who knows. They will be without spiritual leader, or with the one that China has chosen for them.
