Can someone make a scan of the Two of Coins of the Chosson, please ?

I have a few pictures, but I don't have a scanner! Sorry. Maybe somebody can look in Kaplan volume 2.

I'll look up the other places and post them.

There has to be one on the web somewhere, don't you think?

Any chance of an English translation?

Hi

I haven(t enough skill in English to do so.

But JMD or Ros may make a summary if they think it is worth the translation...

Sorry Alain
Tried, but the kaplan volume and my scanner just won't 'fit' to quite get a scan.

Anyone have any idea what the 'c' stands for in 1c72? [The date on the two of coins]. I suspect Kaplans dating of 1672 is too early, more probably 1772? I have seen a suggestion that the decorative squiggle at the end of the date like an infinity sign is an 8 on its side and the date is 1728, but the same or similar decorative scroll is on other decks, the Conver for example, and I see no reason why an 8 should be aligned differently to the other numbers, so I doubt it.

edited to add, Kenji has also discussed dating in thread here:

In which dating of 1762 is suggested.
