Farschian: 5. The Flow of Life?

zorya

i could not find a title for this work. this colourful card sort of spirals out from a white orb. a yellow haired woman appears to be embracing and sharing breath with a phoenix (or sacred peacock). maybe she is about to kiss it? around her are creatures known for their swiftness: rabbits, winged deer (gazelles?), and birds.

the earth and sky are shown, but become almost merged by the spiral. As above so below?

i feel she is moving along with creation. in many cultures, breath equals life, so here perhaps she is sharing life with all... part of all creation... part of a larger picture.

the creature she is sharing with is the phoenix. to me this implies she shares all, life and death, the good and bad. In a way, i see this as saying ‘go with the flow’, you are part of something bigger.
