Looking at these images makes me wonder why there hasn't been a proper reproduction of the existing cards. I love these images.

What is a "proper" reproduction ? I have a black and white limited edition set I bought some years back. It was also available hand painted but that I could not afford - in the packaging they included a photo of how it looked coloured; it was fabulous. Since then the Golden Estensi has taken the 17 extant cards and added to them to create a full deck. It is well worth looking at.

Well, i suppose that it's because only 16 Trumps and one figure are left : not enough to present a whole deck for an editor...

But the remaining deck is truly beautiful indeed.
