I think this month's thread is influenced by a lot of things that have happened to me in the last few weeks. Gratefulness, not taking things for granted, and becoming aware of all the wonderful gifts and blessings in each moment of each day have all come to play in my life, in such a big way.

This month, the suggested spread is about the gifts or blessings you have received this year... Whether this year has not been easy or has been your best, there is always a gift or blessing from each experience, good or bad.

WHAT IS HOLDING YOU BACK FROM EXPERIENCING THE THREE GIFTS - Opossum 23 (DIVERSION)

Opossum is all about relying on your instincts and doing anything you can to survive, even playing dead and using your brain.

Yea, I took lead in my love like/take lead in my love life. I feel every relationship I have... I take some type of lead. But I am learning the balance between taking lead by standing firmly by what I believe/need vs having to direct/control the direction of a relationship. So it's like letting go of control while still staying in control. I always follow my heart's desire....but I also try to keep peace and truth. If I find something out about a person...I do confront them and even go separate ways if need be.

No hundred percent what this is... my family is involved in some non-traditional relationships. That taught me what I want and what i do not want in my future family settings...when I decide to create a family life. In addition I don't get along the greatest with my father.

This seems like a great gift and ties in well with how my 2016 is ending and hopefully how my 2017 is beginning. I am establishing relationships with other even hanging with people of the opposite sex. Friendship and communication are nice gifts. I removed so many people from my life in the last 2 years and I'm now open to making new ones.

Yea, I have been very busy with creating strategies and plans. I guess I am forgetting to enjoy my emotions in different situations. I think I need to create a balance between my heart and head right now because I been so caught up in my head lately.

Thank you for the reading. I think it makes sense. Only card I am slightly scratching my head on is Hawk rx.... maybe just seeing some relationships that I don't agree with taught me what I want from my relationship with people (friends & life partners).

Yep, this year my love life transformed. I got a boyfriend, and I would have never guessed I'd end up with this person. It's so surreal!
I'm not sure about the spiritual connection. But our bond is really strong. We often say the same thing at once, and we have similar opinions and thoughts.

I've learned a lot this year and did well in school. My peers are actually pretty smart, and I often learn new things from them too I've had so many teachers this year, more than I ever had. And I got to learn many new subjects.

I'd say I'm pretty naive, but I don't really fall for charmers. I do my research
This year I found out about so many new age religions I've never heard before, and I did some research. However, I'm still not 100% sure about my beliefs. I'm planning to work on it in 2017.

No, not really. I'm pretty happy with how things are right now. However, I quit smoking this year, so maybe that's what this card is pointing to
