I think this month's thread is influenced by a lot of things that have happened to me in the last few weeks. Gratefulness, not taking things for granted, and becoming aware of all the wonderful gifts and blessings in each moment of each day have all come to play in my life, in such a big way.

This month, the suggested spread is about the gifts or blessings you have received this year... Whether this year has not been easy or has been your best, there is always a gift or blessing from each experience, good or bad.

1-3: These cards represents the gifts or blessings you received this year, and you can work with your partner by putting a focus on each of the card. This is my first ever Oracle Circle so I'm really excited! I'll update my Oracle list in my profile tomorrow so you can pick the deck you'd like me to use for your reading. And please let me know if you have a focus.

As for me..well I'd like you to focus on a recent long trip I made. I know if has had a very deep influence on me (especially spiritually) but I'm still in the process of trying to analyse it all.
I know I have received many gifts on the way and I'd like to learn more about them.

I just thought to add something.. I´m not sure but I have a feeling that one of the gifts this year and from that long trip could be a spirit guide that has been approaching. (http://www.tarotforum.net/showthread.php?t=266957) Maybe you could see something about who they are? I think it´s a he although not sure. Maybe human maybe animal, not sure yet either. It would be very interesting if you could see something more about that.

The Gift Spread is great. A new spirit guide is a great gift, right?

And I´m not sure about anything yet. It´s just a thought. It´s all very new.. If he doesn´t show in the reading as a gift then that is an answer, too! Whatever you see I will be interested to hear.

You got 5 cards, 2 came when I selected the third. In this deck, reversals are Protection cards. I put the card numbers behind the title.

Shadow card: By the Book 11 (P)

Yang (P)
This card is the fiery, masculine card. There are two hands shooting a fireball. This is a card about action, passion and creativity. In Protection it is warning us of being too aggressive, too impulsive, too overconfident. You may be sorry of the consequences. It's saying to be a little more prudent, diplomatic, and thoughtfully consider what your next move is. This isn't a time to shoot first and ask questions later.

Time for a Nap (P)

This is a card allowing you to rest. I have an image in my mind of like a frantic mother, trying to reel in her kids, get her Christmas shopping done and work all at the same time. This is not a time to multi-task. This is a time for quiet repose. It is ok to take a break. You're allowed.

Message in a Bottle

Communication, a sign, a cledon (the ancient name for a spontaneous oracle delivered innocently by the speaker) pointing the way to your highest good.

Sadly, spirit guides don't tell us who they are in plain language. You will find your spirit guide through a cledon. Someone may say a name and it resonates with you, or you will see an animal and you know that is your guide. Don't try so hard, you will find your spirit guide when you are ready to hear what they have to tell you. If it helps, the card has a stork and a starfish on it.

To the Sea (P)

This card is telling you to stop resisting and allow. Don't try so hard. Relax, you will find the answer to your query.

By the Book (P)

This card is challenging you to get out of your comfort zone. You are in a time of transformation; it is uncomfortable, but the results are worth it.

As far as to finding the identity of your spirit guide, I think they want you to do that work for yourself. You had four out of five as protection cards. They are telling you to slow down, allow. The hard part about doing this type of reading is I don't have you here to give me feedback into which direction to go in. I have the feeling you feel super rushed, hurried and are a little overwhelmed. I'm not sure if this is an internal pressure or if it's coming from other people. Slow down, this is a time to get your bearings. Everything is in ebb and flow. You may be in an ebb cycle currently, but the flow of abundance will come. Just allow for it to happen.
