December's Suggested Spread:

I think this month's thread is influenced by a lot of things that have happened to me in the last few weeks. Gratefulness, not taking things for granted, and becoming aware of all the wonderful gifts and blessings in each moment of each day have all come to play in my life, in such a big way.

This month, the suggested spread is about the gifts or blessings you have received this year... Whether this year has not been easy or has been your best, there is always a gift or blessing from each experience, good or bad.

1-3: These cards represents the gifts or blessings you received this year, and you can work with your partner by putting a focus on each of the card. (i.e. 1 could be about love, 2 could be about work, 3 could be about another focus.) You could also get a general reading as well, and let the cards surprise you.

4 (Base/Shadow card - this is the bottom card of the deck): This is something that's holding you back from experiencing or identifying the three gifts that have come into your life this year.

Good afternoon,

I have looked at your oracle decks and I would like you to use the Spirit de la Lune. I have this deck but have never used it despite its sheer beauty! So maybe you will inspire me as to how to read with it!
With regards to the 3 areas of focus, these are: family life, work, health.

On your side, what would you like me to focus on in your reading?
I have not decided which oracle to use (and I don't think my profile is up to date) so I will later give you some suggestions.

Hi Michellehihi!

Here is your reading, with this month’s spread with the Spirit de la Lune oracle. This deck is quite new to me so I am glad to get a chance to work with it for you! I have to say I find the deck very deep.

1 – Family Life: Waxing Crescent-Create.

It looks like you did some work this year to create the relationships you wanted with family, and that has paid off. Perhaps there were family members you wanted a deeper connection with. You created those connections and are now enjoying the deeper relationship that has come out of that. This also shows how powerful you are when you tap into your inner strength- you have worked to create the life you want to live!

2 – Work Life: Waning Crescent-Boundaries.

You have set some boundaries in your work life this year that are serving you well. This may relate to the first card- setting boundaries between your personal and professional life has served both. You are spending the time you need to and that feels right to you in each of these areas of your life. Therefore you feel good about the time you spend working, and are able to be fully present in your work.

3 – Health: Scorpio-The Shaman.

This is the trickiest card for me to interpret. My sense is you have discovered some alternative medicines this year that have benefitted your health. You have developed a deep awareness of the connection between physical well-being and spiritual well-being, and have found practices that benefit both and are experiencing greater health as a result. You may have also discovered more earth-based or herbal medicines.

4 – Shadow Card: Leo-The Hero.
Despite all the good work and progress you have made this year (because to me it looks like you have worked to connect with the gifts you have been given!), you may feel the need to be endlessly striving for yourself and especially for others. Sometimes all the hero needs to do is see the bravery in themselves. Recognize your own power; acknowledge your own gifts. Allow yourself to see the good that has come from the work you have done. You have a lot of the hero in you even if you don’t always see it yourself. Allow yourself to see what you have created and let your gifts flow naturally to build the life you want. Be brave and confident in your own abilities.
