I can actually imagine reading with this deck. I've read the artist's descriptions of her cards and I liked what I read. Plus, it's a sort of fey-like world. A good place to be sometimes when all is not quite right with your day!

I have had other people say how much they like the deck. I don't think we are alone in thinking it is gorgeous!

It isn't immature.. it is "young at heart" :thumbsup:

BTV@ I've been working all weekend, so haven't really had time for readings, but I've pulled a few cards and I like the way I seem to respond to them. It may look like a superficial and pretty deck only, but I definitely feel there's more to it than that. There are many little ''hints'' in the images to give you something to read from.

I may have to wait until after Christmas though as I just received 4 new decks. I ordered those before I saw this deck and started the thread. <embarrassed>

That actually would be fun. We could also practice reading each other with the deck to get a feel for it.

But I agree, a younger reader would definitely love this deck! It has great colours and atmosphere.

Oh no, I didn't mean it like that!! I mean, I have the Gummy Bear Tarot and the Secret Forest deck.. I am just not into the fairy thing, and though I did like Stevie Nicks way back when, I kind of got tired of her in the 80's, when she tried too hard to be rock and roll and tough (it just wasn't her) I do think this deck is one of the well done of it's genre, and the reason I think it would be good for someone younger is because there is no obvious nudity or any really dark or scary images. I apologize if you think I was referring to your level of maturity, I wasn't!

Anyway, not all decks can be everyone's cup of tea. We'd all end up reading from the same tarot cards and that would be really boring!

But first I must acquire my deck....I see that the Book Depository is selling it for 14,35 euros, free delivery to France.....

But I already chose my pressies before I saw this and my budget is now stretched probably beyond breaking point.....do I say forget the budget and just not eat in January or does the sensible moonbear wait until the New Year?

But the New Year is a long long time away.....I'm off to have a cup of tea. That 'order now' button may well get pressed before the day is out
