Astrology and Lenormand

In my opinon, Anchor can not be a 6th house card. 6th house is the servants' house, our everyday job, we may not even like it but it pays the bills and brings the food on the table. To me this is the Fox. Anchor is about stable long-term career, our hopes for growth and to me it's the MC, the 10th house. :) Even Saturn for he's the one who gives the long-term rewards and also requires patience to achieve big goals.

Hi red

the list you gave for mystical one is missing 35-Anchor.

I assume its 6th house, for work.

Oops yes it's 6th house, will add that.

I am currently going through the planets, then it will be the signs then the houses as it seems to make sense to me

I can see it as the 6th mainly because the anchor is what stabilises you and keeps you there, so your kids can for instance be an anchor because you have to look after them, it's the daily grind, it keeps you standing still.

Anyways we are not on the anchor yet, will be interesting when we get to houses.

Nice but kids are 5th house issue. Or Leo. Or both. :)

As a newcomer to Lenormand, I am enjoying this thread very much. I have been comparing the correspondences between different Lenormand decks, and finding some similarities and some differences that are very interesting.

I have the Mystical Lenormand, which has already been mentioned. In today's mail I received the Astrological Lenormand (by Hildegard Leiding-Heinz). Here are the correspondences she gives:

1. Rider – Mercury

3. Ship – 9th house
4. House – 4th house
5. Tree – Saturn
6. Clouds – Neptune
7. Snake – Cancer
8. Coffin – Pluto
9. Flowers – Jupiter
10. Scythe – 8th house
11. Whip – North Node
12. Owls – Uranus

25. Ring – 7th house
26. Book – Pisces
27. Letter – Gemini
28. Man – Mars
29. Lady – Venus

31. Sun – Sun
32. Moon – Moon
33. Key – Taurus
34. Fish – 2nd house
35. Anchor – Capricorn
36. Cross – Dark Moon Lilith

Eventually, I hope to incorporate astrology in my Lenormand readings. I am enjoying my study of the cards so far!!

What do you experienced readers think of these? How many of you do use astrology in your readings?

That's a very flat statement , even astrology isnt that black and white....hence why the debate is here.

When we have finished with all the sign/planets/houses we can build our Solar returns, and natal charts from lenormand cards....can you imagine a lunar return using cards?;)

I did a solar Return on my B'day and I have kept it safely and there are many similarities I have found between my zodiac solar return chart and the lenormand one. The only problem I face is that some planets are not represented by those cards which I think they do and I don't have enough knowledge to make my own list. This is why I'm very much excited about this topic and discussion.

so are we done with Neptune for Clouds,Moon and Fish?
