Thoth 2005 by Urania Verlag

Barleywine

Oh and btw, the Urania Verlag deck has very delicate colouring which I rather like. It is also available from the Book Depository.

That would be the German-language one (in deluxe and standard edition) published by Konigsfurt-Urania? That's the only one i noticed on BD.

Le Fanu

Funny, I've noticed that the pocket version of this has become virtually impossible to find.

"Unavailable" at the Book Depository, uk amazon, German amazon and one for 40 euros on French amazon. Can't see it anywhere else. I don't need one, but this is one of my favourite editions and it's so handy for the desk drawer...

Are you referring to a pocket Thoth from the same stable that produced (finally) the newer Thoth editions or the older one that had been published by US Games? I'm pretty sure no pocket version was issued by Urania Verlag and © O.T.O. Do you suppose I can sell my US Games pocket deck now on eBay for $300+ :D

Zephyros

I've read the entire thread, and I must admit I am very confused. Does anyone actually have the new German "laser" Thoth? How does it compare to the regular edition? Are the changes that dramatic that it is a must، although it is in German? I've been waiting for this for years, but even this thread seems lukewarm towards it (unless, as I said I'm confused, and it hasn't come out yet).

This thread is long and perhaps unfocused, and rightly so, but maybe somebody could sum it up, and say whether it is released or not, and if so, if it is worth getting?

Please? :)
