OK, looks like Deck of the Dead will be my Seven Stars' clincher

I've got three other decks on their way atm... so won't be able to get it for a little while... but I have a feeling that when I get this one in my hot little hands, a new addiction will have begun!

take your time I'm actually filling out orders flat on my back right now - did you know that you can get scoliosis out of the blue, no warning just poof & you're an invalid? no joke, it's nuts I saw the x-ray & couldn't believe it. So I'm a little slow right now but still getting all the orders out.

Well not the Samhain Deck of the Bastard 1st edition.

And the Samhain Deck of the Bastard 2nd edition, I lightened it considerably....I'm not selling the darker version of it anymore.

The new Deck of the Dead looks just amazing! Think I might need that one as a gift for hubby later this year--he's liked it a lot since I showed him the first posts you did a couple of months back?

I got my deck today - I got the large-sized one with pouch. Goodness, Seven Stars has excelled herself. This is the most stupendously, crazily baroque tarot creation I have ever seen. I am absolutely gobsmacked by it. Not for minimalists.

Every single thing I ever dreamed of in a deck is here. I think in one of those threads from years ago, you know, that "what style of deck do you wish existed?" and I think I said I wanted a deck with Flemish engravings from the 17th Century. Well here it is, in all its deliriously distorted gothick wond'rousness. That and more. I have no words to describe it - except that it is the deck for which my soul has yearned for years. Like 78 family portraits of wayward ancestors you don't want anyone to know you had.

I wanted as big as possible because of the intricacies of the engraving. The collage work is fantastic. Don't know what else to say - all I can do is ramble gibberish, gushing love - but I hope to post an (articulate) review sometime soon...

Ah finally a thread of love that I can post in! I got the large with pouch n journal. I am still gobsmacked with the quality of everything. The cardstock is just wow. What is it made of? The journal is the nicest one I've ever owned. Simply stunning work here! I love every single image. I didn't chose this deck for my ODW because it wasn't here yet so now I have to wait a year to use it. *cries* DotD is still not put away with the other decks. Instead she's living on top of the piano where I can moon over it as I walk by. Lol Seven outdid herself on this deck! I also feel like I'm just rambling goo over it

I love all of my decks and other items from Seven Stars. The Deck of the Dead might just be my favorite. It's hard to say, though. I would love to order the smallest version and just might do that soon. I have the Tarot sized deck, the pouch, and the journal so far.

I too have a strong love of SevenStars decks, and I had some VERY serious plans to get this one as well. Unfortunately, my Jeep ate the money I'd scrounged (weep-wail). I love my Jeep too, but repairs are murder. (sob).

i just ordered a seven stars mat (#13) , my first. Very excited. Was torn between this and the sola busca revisited, which is what i went with, but as it gets closer to halloween we'll see if i can squirrel money for the dead. Squirreling money for the dead, has a nice ring to it.
