Thank you all for the congratulations. And I know that we have sold enough copies of the wooden cards to have paid for the artwork, IIRC.
I think that it's awesome that the cardstock version is going through, but there's just something awesome about the wooden ones - the feel and the wood smell and all.
Schiffer, as I understand it, is hoping to cash in on the pirate craze with this - you may notice that the blurb is not particularly aimed at tarot enthusiasts, but obviously that doesn't change the deck itself.
Anyway, I'm sure I'll be back with a "squee" thread like Sidhe-Ra's when things move along further.

Wow! I saw the pics on the main Aeclectic site . . . and just . . . wow! Now if only I weren't on a student budget! This is simply and incredible deck!
