but I thought I might tell you what i read somewhere:
There are times in the day and in the year apparently, where fairies are more present than at others.
In the day that would be dawn and dusk, as well as midnight and noon (sounds like the 4 cornerstones to me) - although not every fairy has the same time of the day.
It's the same in the year - most big "holdidays" as well as solstices and other "pagan" cornerstones of the year are fairy days.
Those who want can leave them little presents in the form of sweets or milk.
