Seven of Coins

Piece by piece the last explanations. The SEVEN OF COINS:

This is a card, where the most people see a difference of Crowley and Waite. Crowley speaks about a loss. The painting of Pamela Coleman-Smith seems to show a bush, where coins are growing on, mostly interpreted as growing. But in the "Pictoral Key to the Tarot" Waite talks about a heap of leaves, where the person watches something like treasury lying there, which was important for him before. Seems like a loss too, I guess. You have to leave the old structure, when you go the new energy. This is something you have to accept. If you don´t hold everything together anymore like you did before, a few things won´t work anymore too. That hurts sometimes. But you cannot have everything. That´s what is shown on my Seven of Coins. I want to show, what Waite really meant.

Six of Swords

The SIX OF SWORDS:

It´s really hard to find a better symbolism as Waite found for that card. The ship also is a classical solution to symbolize an unsafe journey. The Lenormand-cards also use it. This is so near to me, that I decided to join this tradition. The swords are on bord, so we got the tools of rationality. The traveler doesn´t swim. The boat carries him. But this journey across the water contains an obvious unsafeness ore danger. The hand wants to get the contact to the water (feelings). The creature in the water is open and seems strange to the traveler, and it always slips out of his fingers, when he tries to grab it. The moon is waxing. There will be a meeting with his own fear.

Eight if Cups

The EIGHT OF CUPS:

Seven Cups are covered with a cloth to keep them clean and safe. The traveler took one cup for the journey. But he also wants to use his sword again. Maybe he must. The way leads out of the Eight into the Nine. We can see the house of the hermit and the moon from the Hermit-card. On his way he must pay attention for having solid ground under his feet and not getting in the swamps again. Hills in the background show us, that it could become necessary to take the way through the mountains.

King of Wands

O.k., let´s explain the last card, the KING OF WANDS:

The King of Wands is able to build a mental wall, to send his energy in that direction he wants. This is the atmosphere of the Nine of Wands. He is very conscious in doing that. So his projects are not of an egoistic nature. He thinks very free and wants to get things on a higher level. The triangle in the square shows his intention, to get heaven and earth together, an act of real integration. The loop on his wand is the symbol for the nine, what I will use on the back of the cards ( http://www.langustl.de/tarotgross/rueckseitegeng.html)
I will explain the thoughts behind after this.
.....But what´s that ? This king got a brush in his hand :D !

Well, last but not least, the explanation of the back of the cards.

You can see, that this graphic shows the Major Arcana as a structure. It´s based on the number Nine. Four of these loops would show the structure of the Minor Arcana. And so it´s a very logical and symmetric thing.

It works like the course of a planet in relationship to gravitation. The point in the middle means the center, the balance, if you want "our home in god". But no, god would be the point and the loops together. However, well, we can decide, what we want to do. And so we take one of the ways. Male ore female, solar ore lunar, active ore passive, how you want. We make the first step with the 1, the Magician. But nobody ever takes the direct way to an aim (whatever an aim is :D). The first impulse gets a second impuls, contra-impulse, in the other direction, 2, the High Priestess. Out of that we realize (3, the Empress), that we want to connect these two, and go on with the 4, Emperor. The 5, Hierophant, is the limit, what is able to reach on this way. The 6, Lovers, show us, that there´s another side, what can complete that, what we know. So we wanna go back with the 7, chariot. This is a point, where we don´t really know, what is better. Now we know consciousnesss well, and we are afraid to loose controle. So we have going on and going back in the same time. The 8, justice, keeps us handling with these two aspects. The 9, eremit, is ready than, to go to the other side. So, if you want, go on playing the game on the other side. It´s a perfect mirror ;).

The 10, Wheel of fortune, shows the change to the next 1 ore 11. The 20, Judgement, means leaving the game. And 21, World ore Universe, is the going home with the consciousness for this hole thing and real freedom.

In one loop you get three small loops with three aspects. Tis is always impuls, contra-impulse and the result out of that. It´s the same with the seperate aspects and also with the loops. First loop, contra-loop and result-loop.The small is in the big and the big is in the small. 3 X 3 = 9. We´re back home ;)
