How about the 7 figures relating to the 7 planets?

Womans Head = Empress = Venus
Serpent = Magician's ouroboros snake = Mercury
Veiled Figure = High Priestess = Moon
Castle = Tower = Mars
Jewels - Wheel of Fortune = Jupiter
Wreath/Skull = The World = Saturn
Winged Dragon = The Sun = Sun

Welcome to AT, RChMI... this sounds very interesting, this is slightly off topic but could you elaborate on the jewels and the dragon, they seem to me a little bit forced at this moment. Thank you.

What a great contribution!!!

Welcome RChMI
to the Forum and to this thread!

And for sure what you say
seems very eloquent !
I never had seen them thus!...

But even so,
what is happening here?
why to do that ?
What is doing this being with these "representations of the planets"?

BTW, thanks by yor reply!
After all Flavio and me are not the only ones interested in this card :D !

Maestro!

I think it also helps to remember that Pamela Colman Smith
actually had visions ~ especially when listening to music.
What do you think would be the music for the 7 of Cups?

:) Very "inspirational" thread ~ in every way!

Why Pamela would put that skull in the cup
with the laurels crown?
sic transit gloria mundi
"So the glory of this world passes away"

Thanks Fulgour!

And let think...

perhaps y should say something more important, some classical one, or an opera,...

but i'll say just...

the Basic Scale :
DO RE MI FA SOL LA SI :D ...

since maybe these are the planets,
and remembering about "The Music of the Espheres" theory...!

What do you think of this?

I didn't know that Pamela had visions,
although after everything it doesn't astonish me,
this Tarot undoubtedly was very inspired,
had it been only with music?
...

The jewels, in relation to Jupiter and the card The Wheel of Fortune, portain to the divinatory meaning of "Vanity," or "Success gained but not followed up." The jewels are in the cup and not about the person, where they should properly be if the person had gained the appropriate wisdom.

The winged dragon, in relation to Sun and the card The Sun, portain to the divinatory meaning of "Drunkenness," or "selfish idealism." In mordern terms this could be said to be Solipsism. The dragon being blue and wigned, relate to the sky. Winged dragons were seen as horses in the sky, and so relates to the horse in the card The Sun. It can be seen as the "dark side" or "nature" of the horse in the card.

...........
The seven planets relate to the seven major endocrine centres (chakras) in the body. They are related to in the Seven of Cups card in concert with the esoteric title of the card, "Lord of Illussionary Success." They are functioning as a warning marker, akin to that of the "seven deadly sins."

A cup symbolizes the Heart Chakra and is related to the Sun, and is considered to be the abode of Spirit. The watery aspect associated with the suit of Cups relates to emotions. As the path of spiritual enlightenment may be considered as to be a sacred obligation, the individual can be seen to be an Initiate, whether they are one in actuality, or merely in ad hoc circumstances out of necessity. The swell of knowledge upon the individual can be seen as being akin to that of alcohol upon the nervous system. Over indulgence can lead to disaster.
