Moderator note - feedback

Hi Sydkid182,

You've got 2 detailed readings from headincloud and Barleywine, could you go through the interpretations and explain why they are 'spot on' and why they're not?

We ask for detailed feedback for each person who replies, not just a thank you.. Feedback helps the people who reply to your threads learn and ensure that threads here are equal exchanges where everyone learns, not just thread starters asking for help.

Here are some tips on leaving feedback from the posting rules.
The best thing to do is to go through the interpretations and say what you think of each one, how it relates to your situation etc:
Feedback helps us all to learn..
Leaving feedback means letting each person who has replied know how their interpretations match the situation you're reading about.. Feedback helps people to see how the cards work in real life situations..

We try to ensure that threads here are equal exchanges and the people who reply or who are just reading threads get as much out of them as the thread starter.. Without feedback there is no exchange and that's not fair..

A note about the type of feedback that we'd like to see here - this is taken from the previous version of the posting rules and it offers some good tips about giving feedback:

  • “Thanks” or “That was helpful” is NOT feedback. Detail is required.
  • you must give a response to every person who helps you with the cards, and generally within a day or two (there can be exceptions if a situation is unfolding). You don't have to list everything they said but at least discuss some of their points.
  • get involved in the process, besides helping you with the situation this process will increase your own reading skills
  • if the interpretation of cards wasn't clear – ask politely for an explanation
  • if you do not agree, explain why courteously
  • has the interpretation clarified the situation for you? If so, how?
  • please note that an update on the situation is not full feedback unless you link it to some of the interpretations, however, updates are always very welcomed.

woah this is an awesome interpretation. thank you! its very spot on. Especially the part concering the empress and the devil. Currently, i'm secure. But I'm bored of it. I feel like i'm missing something. a few questions:
what lies in the 7 of wands? what is this 'test' or battle? please tell me more about what this card is saying specifically.
Also, with the Knight of Cups, in what way will someone be egging me on?

The 7 of Wands simply shows a battle against almost overwhelming odds (six-on-one), with the "high ground" being the main advantage of the lone combatant. I sometimes see it as "holding the moral high ground," as in being "in the right" against unfair "piling on." Since it's Wands, it could be in the area of professional competition; the odds could be quite stiff in whatever you have in mind for a new direction. The Sevens all imply stepping away from present complacency in search of a remedy for stagnation, so it's an encouraging card as long as you anticipate the struggle ahead. (It carries the title of "Valor" - extraordinary courage in the face of daunting odds - so it suggests the possibility, but not the guarantee, of victory.)

The Knight of Cups as you've placed it in my arrangement is in the position of "External environment, or the influence of other people." So there could be some encouragement from others you're involved with. Maybe you will have "cheerleaders" that you presently aren't aware of. If we look at it as simply "environment," it could be showing you moving within circumstances that reinforce your optimism (keeping in mind the cautions I mentioned).
