Colour yourself decks

DDwarks

I've got a Pendragon I'd love to colour in but don't want to affect it's value.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think it's worth a fortune or that it will increase in value.
I don't buy decks as an investment, I buy them to get some money back in a few years down the line. Like a safety deposit or savings account!

Anyone here with the same dilemma ?

I was thinking of scanning the cards and printing them out? Anyone has any tips on how to get it done on "thick" paper? My standard printer isn't having it!

You could still scan them and print them on regular sized paper, color them (depending on the materials you use you might need to seal each one so that the color doesn't leech), three hole punch them and create your own colored folio edition of the deck without doing anything to your original deck.

I'm planning on doing that to the RWS drawings in Nancy Garen's Tarot Made Easy. I've already scanned the images in. Can't remember if I've printed them out, but I know I haven't colored them in yet. I actually may do two versions, one by hand and one in Photoshop.

That's brilliantly simple!

I love the photoshop idea very much, thank you
