sacred sites, thanks

VGimlet

Llewellyn's Classic Tarot just arrived yesterday, so that's what I'll be using next.

I really enjoyed my time with the Sacred Isle though - it's going on my more later list.

Rose Lalonde

I'm already listed from my post in last week's thread. That's efficient! :D

I'll also be continuing the Eye Rhymes TdM study group, which will have me posting with the Jean Noblet Tarot every few days.

Thanks, Elendil.

GoldenWolf

I just realized that I have a cat tarot I haven't used here yet! Medieval Cat Tarot for this week please.

swedishfish612

Jean Noblet for me this week. Thanks! Glad to be back.

Elendil

I am in with the second edition of the Daniloff Tarot.

Madame Squee

Thank you for the new thread, Elendil.

I'm in this week with the Bonefire Tarot and Flonz Victorian Lenormand Poker Chips (made by Shalyn). I read with Deirdre of the Sorrows every single day last week, but being very bad, didn't post a word about it, including some of the wonderful readings it produced. I will do better next time -- I plan to return to it soon.

The Bonefire Tarot deck arrived on Friday, and the Flonz poker chips on Saturday, so I'm in brand-new hog heaven!

I downloaded the Bonefire app (from Fool's Dog) about 10 days ago, and I've been looking at the cards every night before sleep. (I hope that's not cheating. It didn't feel like cheating. :bugeyed:) Even so, the app did not prepare me for how much I would love the actual physical deck of cards!

Everything about it -- size, shape, card stock and lamination, plus a lovely handmade tarot case and handcrafted LWB, feels perfect to me. The cards measure close to square at 3 by 3.9 inches in a substantial stack of 1.3 inches, and despite thickness, still offers enough flexibility for a satisfying riffle shuffle. Matte laminate ensures NO distracting glare under lamplight even though lush, saturated colors glow with an inner light that renders an artificial light source practically unnecessary.

Alongside some of the traditional and familiar RWCS symbols, Gabi Angus-West depicts a new symbology in her cards, enabling fresh and deeper perspectives at every turn.

It's going to be a fun and interesting new week!
