I use Touchstone as my primary deck and had this serendipitous reading this morning. So I wanted to say thank you and give something back to my deck. I had read in "The Tarot Playbook" by Linda Cowles how would you feel if your friend only came to you when she wanted something?
Now that was tongue and check but it got me thinking. So I created a thank you ritual by asking the deck who wanted to be the deck representative (happily, it was a card very near and dear to me). And then I set that card aside and went through each card thereafter in the deck and said thank you to it (touching it to my third eye and heart) for its specific gift or aspect, such as showing me who I am or calling me on my BS, helping me notice what I'm ignoring, reminding me to celebrate, etc.
At the end, the last card I drew, also serendipitously, was The High Priestess, who, in my original deck interview spread some time ago, was who this deck identified itself as.
It felt really nice to do go through this process and balancing. Has anyone else done something like this?
