One (very) nice thing about Aeclectic~

What's so great about this deck?

It's by that guy out of Robin hood.
I don't think I could take it seriously.

When I first seen it I thought it was some kind of joke, like Robin Hood, greenwood.

Good though, is it?

I ask myself the same question every time I see it. I personally wouldn't give a quarter for it, but apparently some people like it - a lot.

I totally agree, Abrac & Lillie. The Greenwood is one of those decks that leaves me shaking my head. People rave about it, but it just has a fluffy oracle vibe I don't get and I sometimes wonder if the scarcity is part of its appeal. I've had two copies pass through my hands, and both sets went in the AT trading forum... to loving and appreciative homes. There are 5 other decks in the same vein I'd suggest before it, starting with the Druidcraft.

Rabbit: as for Fulgour's advice, I'll second that: FILE A CLAIM RIGHT NOW. Paypal's coverage is time sensitive. You'll find your Greenwood one of these days.

Rabbit

I filed my claime last night. It's only the second claim I've had to file in 7 years there. Paypal is pretty good about this stuff.

By the way this is the 2nd greenwood that has fallen through.

It's a really great deck for meditation.

Agreed! And I think this is where we all benefit on Aeclectic
when we respect what we know others cherish without the
too easy negativity...some people think all Tarots are dumb.

I didn't take to the old Marseille decks at first, because they
were crude looking to me, the work seemed second-rate but
that changed (and I changed) and that's part of the beauty.

The Greenwood may be like the Monkey Trap on Robin Woods
XV The Devil, where some only want it to have it, and never
really grasp the reality, but others simply let it come to them
and discover they are the treasure and they are the enriched.

According to "Jen"

As I understand it, the way things now stand,
PayPal has issued refunds, minus a cover fee.

So whatever amount was paid, up to $200 US
will be credited, minus $25 service charges. :)

Rabbit

According to Rabbit, no refund has been issued yet. :(

Today I got a message in my email that Paypal would be refunding 144$ of the 139$ form this jerk.
So I'm happy.
