My apologies for missing what you wrote earlier, wizzle - my excuse is that I've read so much about symbolism just now, I think It's time I had a rest!
I also agree with you about the wonderful symbolism in this card. When I first looked at a tarot deck some years ago, I looked at the "big picture" in the centre of the card and thought that was it. How wrong could I get?!
