How many spreads?

Greetings everyone.
I`m a Tarot fan still getting familiar with the cards, but the only spread I do so far is the common 3 card spread.
However, in time, my goal is to read for others as well.
Here comes the question: how many spreads you think one should know, when reading for other people?

There is really no such thing as "should" in Tarot. We can all find the way that works best for us.

Personally, I do read professionally for others and I don't use spreads at all when reading. I simply do 1, 2 or 3 card readings depending on how much info the querent needs on the topic. I personally never use spreads. It isn't strictly necessary to ever use them.
