How many to print?

Let’s say that someone was interested in printing a wide distribution of one or more tarot decks of historic significance, how many do you think he should print?

I know that Il Meneghello typically prints around 1000-1500 (but sometimes more) Does anyone know how many decks some of the other printers of historic reproductions create?

We are talking about Payen and "Tarot of Paris" decks.... theoretically, of course.

when you are a good comerciant you can 1500, because I think it is cheap.
I winsh you very lucky.

It is very dificult to sell they.

I think 500 is about the 'lowest' number that printers wil undertake to do. Well, that's the minimum here where I live. This might sound a lot for a historical deck, but if it's a rare one (wink-nudge) I think they may probably all sell. If it's the deck I'm thinking of - chalk me up for one!
