On a lark, on September 28th I did a three card spread asking the question : Will hurricane Matthew hit New England and cause a big impact where I live?

I took this to mean that the storm will take a windy track with twists and turns, but will ultimately follow an established (predicted) path out to sea.
I can't say how many times I've been tempted to throw in the towel and review the reading to see if I could get the opposite outcome from it. I haven't done that because I'm still in the game
. The one thing I would clarify with hindsight is the storm knows where it's going, it is the forecast models that are twisting and turning .
